Fundamental Friday: May 22, Ethiopia Kaffa debut

Come down to the roastery this Friday, May 22nd 9:30-5 to try our delicious new coffee, Ethiopia Kaffa. Also available for order at funcoffeeco.com on Friday. 

 I'm super excited about this coffee as it comes from an interesting region and will be one of the components of our upcoming Summer Solstice Blend. This coffee is grown organically in the mountainous Kaffa Zone and boasts an altitude of over 1700 meters. Grown by small holders, the Chiri cooperative wet mill focuses on high quality washed-process coffee. In the cup, Ethiopia Kaffa is full-bodied with complex floral aromas and a well-balanced acidity. It is different from most Sidamo coffees we've tasted which compelled us to share this special coffee with Fundamental Coffee customers. We hope you share in our excitement about this new offering!
