Howdy y'all. Scott here with a few quick updates. I've been cupping some interesting Central American new crop coffees. Too early to say much other than the coffees have been really late and the market has been under downward pressure. Leaf rust has been an issue for Guatemala in particular. I'm very hopeful that quality will be good despite lower production numbers.
In other news, we have purchased a small parcel of Kenya coffee from the Nyeri region. The coffee is elegant, full of grapefruit and bracing acidity and is truly a classic Kenyan archetype. I'm roasting the coffee very soon and will be available soon. Sneak preview this Friday, March 6th!!!
